The original In Mike’s Corner Site launched on November 9th 2001. In that time it has generated thousands of hits. Not to mention two Golden Web Awards. The name In Mike’s Corner actually has quite a history.
As a teenager I was a huge wrestling fan. I wanted to enter the sport of professional wrestling in the worst way. Not as a wrestler, but as a manager. Similar to the legendary Jim Cornette and Bobby “The Brain” Heenan. What I also admired were short talk show segments by other greats. Like “Piper’s Pit” with “Rowdy” Roddy Piper and “The Body Shop” with Jesse "The Body" Ventura. I wanted In Mike’s Corner with “Mastermind” Mike Pringle. Well plans change and I began focusing on my acting and writing. However, I kept the name and made it my URL.
In Mike’s Corner did keep the interview theme for a short time. I conducted interviews with independent entertainers. One interview I did was with actress/singer Erika Ann. Please click her headshot below and read all about it. It was one of my best interviews.
